This can be done with the help of a virtual character or by showing for example a video or a product presentation – depending on how you would like to address your customers. talkingTerminal enables you to directly contact your customers or visitors and to make information available in an easy and flexible manner.

With speech input, talkingTerminal offers a natural way to interact on the one hand and gives users the opportunity to access information fast and easy (i.e. “What are today´s specials?”) on the other hand. Spoken interaction is the most efficient way of communication we have. With talkingTerminal you can make this efficiency work for you in order to convey information intuitively and with no delay.Speech output solutions give talkingTerminal its voice. talkingTerminal is therefore able to answer questions, explain product details and help customers find their way. Moreover, with the help of a virtual character, talkingTerminal has an individual “face”, thus conveying even more positive emotions. The virtual character thereby becomes your “virtual employee”.

Content Management & Administration

talkingTerminal can easily be connected to an already existing software infrastructure (i.e. content management systems, databases or digital asset management systems). Besides, talkingTerminal has its own Content Management System (CMS) via which it can supply your browser with content or adjust it according to current events.

Writing texts or instructions therefore becomes quite easy via the web. It is also very easy to transfer questions that can be asked by customers via the Content Management System. It is also possible to upload product pictures, videos or brochures.

 

Another asset is the Terminal Administration System (TAS) that is responsible for controlling all active talkingTerminals. It can be comfortably controlled via a browser. With the help of the Terminal Administration System, individual talkingTerminals can be turned off and user statistics which give an overview of which content was interesting at what time can be followed. The TAS can be accessed remotely and thereby provides you with control over all active talkingTerminals at all times.

The Content Management System as well as the Terminal Administration System allow for “live” access to all talkingTerminals. In a very short time, contents can be adjusted and information can be customized to the interest of different target groups, to the time of day and to individual needs.
